【本人の感想（英語）】

Before coming to Okinawa, I had never studied Japanese. Learning Japanese has been very difficult, but also very enjoyable.

I still have a lot to learn, but already what I have learned has been invaluable to both my work and daily life.

I can have simple conversations in Japanese with friends and colleagues and have been able to participate in the reading programme at my son's school.

Importantly for my work， studying Japanese has helped me to appreciate the complexity and subtlety of Japanese and the very close link between language and culture.

The Cross Cultural Communication Centre has played a very important part our lives since moving form New Zealand 18 months ago.

In addition to being excellent teachers,they have taken a genuine interest in our lives and eased the transition to a new country and new culture.

They have accommodated our busy schedules and constantly encouraged us.

【本人の感想（日本語）】

　にほんにくるまえ、わたしは　いちども　にほんごを　べんきょうしたことが　ありませんでした。にほんごのべんきょうはとてもむずかしいですが、とても　たのしいです。

　まだまだ　べんきょうすることが　たくさんありますが、これまで　ならったことは　すでに　しごとと　せいかつの　うえで　かかせないものに　なっています。

　ゆうじん、どうりょうと　かんたんな　にちじょうかいわは　できますし、むすこの　がっこうで　ろうどくかつどうを　しています。

　にほんごの　べんきょうの　おかげで　にほんごの　ふくざつさと　せんさいさが　りかいでき、にほんごと　そのぶんかが　とても　みっせつに　かんれん　しているこよが　わかりました。

　じゅうはちかげつまえに　ニュージーランドから　うつりすんで　いらい、クロス　カルチャー　コミュニケーションセンタ－は　わたしたちの　せいかつのうえで　とても　じゅうような　やくわりを　はたしています。

　すばらしい　せんせいであると　どうじに　わたしたちの　せいかつに　こころから　かんしんを　もち、あたらしいとちと　そのぶんかへ　えんかつに　てきおうできるように　（てだすけ＝help､support）してくれました。

　かれらは　わたしたちの　たぼうな　せいかつを　うけいれ、つねに　はげましてくれました。
